Our Process
STEP 1
Funeral Home gifts or sells service
Most Funeral homes include the aftercare fee in the service fee. Direct Cremation typically sells it as an add on or higher package.
STEP 2
Report the Death
Exported CSV file or integration with CRM. By doing this, you can keep track of deceased contacts and prevent any sharing of their personal information.
STEP 3
FCA Reaches Out to The Family
We will contact you 1–3 days after you make your at-need arrangement. Appointments will be made within 1-3 weeks.
STEP 4
Aftercare Service
We will be there with the family until everything is done. If there is something we can’t do (i.e., legal) we will assist the family as they work with those professionals.
STEP 5
Promote Your Funeral Home
We provide you with the tools you need to promote your funeral home to a wider audience. We offer Google reviews, feedback, pre-need planning, and media promotion.
STEP 6
Report
We provide comprehensive support, including invoices (Only charged for families who used services), feedback reports, pre-need lead reports, and a live dashboard.

Yes we are extremely effective at getting your families to give you a google review. In addition to that we will ask for feedback from each family which acts as a safety net so you can be informed if any family has concern, is unhappy or on the other hand is extremely happy with your funeral home.
No, we don’t sell anything to the family and have no interest in doing that. We do however, introduce the concept of preneed to families when appropriate and we will let you know if they are interested in learning more. It is a gentle and effective way to introduce preneed without offending families. On average 40 to 60% of the families we serve request more information about preneed from the funeral home. We pass that information on to your preneed team and they can follow up with the family directly.
For many years aftercare has been focused on selling preneed and/or following up to let the family know you are thinking about them. Some families feel like those approaches are nice and some feel like it is too much. In the end, follow-up based aftercare is focused on the funeral home’s needs to get things like reviews or sell preneed. We prefer to partner with funeral homes that understand that the best way to grow their business is by putting the family’s needs first. Service based aftercare does exactly that. We are an extension of your services and continue to hold the family’s hand through all the difficult next steps after services are over. This service lets the family know that you care about them and are here to help them. The family feels like the funeral home went the “extra mile” and becomes more loyal, gives more reviews, and is more likely to buy preneed. Better service and in the end, better results for the funeral home too. It’s all about putting the “Care” back in Aftercare.
