Full-Circle Aftercare was founded on a simple belief: every family deserves help managing estate closing tasks after losing a loved one.
Our service began with a pre-planning agency that wanted to do more for families. Our founder, Matthew Van Drimmelen, started working with funeral homes and hospices to serve their families, always going the extra mile to make their lives easier.
In 2016, Matt became the sole owner of Full-Circle Aftercare and began marketing our services more broadly, signing clients from California to New York.
Today, we partner with some of the largest independently owned funeral home and hospice groups in the country, providing their families with best-in-class service.

Just north of Salt Lake City, Utah, our highly trained Estate Specialists work one-on-one with families every day to make notifications, claim benefits, close accounts, and much more.
We’re caretakers at heart, dedicated to uplifting those facing one of the hardest times in their lives. We strive to make every interaction compassionate and truly helpful.
We also take pride in creating career opportunities for women who are often overlooked in hiring because of gaps in their résumés.
Our standards are high—not everyone can become an Estate Specialist. Because our training is so thorough, and more than 20% of new hires do not become certified Estate Specialists. We hold high standards because we believe family deserves to receive the best possible experience.

We’ve been privileged to work with Nikki since 2018. Having worked in almost every position at the company, she brings a deep understanding of the organization’s mission and operations. Before joining FCA, Nikki was a Registered Behavioral Technician, a role that taught her about behavior patterns and the power of positive reinforcement. She applies this knowledge to her work and her life, believing that kindness goes much farther than criticism.
Nikki’s professional philosophy is simple: lead with love. She approaches every task with a willingness to help, a commitment to learning, and a firm belief that empathy makes the work better. In her spare time, Nikki is a writer at heart, crafting poetry, stories, and screenplays. She also loves gardening and growing her own food.
Bess has been with Full-Circle Aftercare for about five years, and she’s played a key role in her team’s growth from under ten people to over thirty. One of her most memorable accomplishments has been helping to create a positive and collaborative team culture where people genuinely enjoy working together. Before joining FCA, Bess spent 15 years as a stay-at-home mom, an experience that taught her how to expertly juggle multiple tasks, adapt on the fly, and let the small stuff go—skills she uses every day at work.
Bess’s leadership philosophy is built on kindness, curiosity, and a bit of fun. She believes this approach helps build trust and keeps the team connected, making the work both meaningful and enjoyable. When she’s not at work, you can usually find her outdoors. She loves hiking, camping, and soaking up sunsets. She also enjoys spending time with her children and friends, and she’s always up for some live music.
For the past four years, Nyleta has played a key role in developing streamlined processes and building automations that enhance the support FCA provides to families. Before joining the team, she worked in the Department of Natural Resources and as a camp director, where she honed her skills in systems building, training, and problem-solving. This background gives her a unique ability to find efficient, practical solutions that make a tangible difference in the day-to-day operations.
Nyleta’s professional philosophy is all about empowering people through structure rather than limiting them. She works to make complex processes feel manageable, allowing the team to focus on what matters most: providing compassionate care to families. When she’s not at work, Nyleta stays active by mountain biking, snowboarding, strength training, and traveling.
When Kathy joined Full-Circle Aftercare over 7 years ago, the organization was a small but passionate team of fewer than 10 people. Today, as part of a thriving team of over 50 dedicated individuals, she has been instrumental in a remarkable transformation—not just in size, but in vision and impact. She finds it humbling and inspiring to have been part of this journey, where the team has sharpened its focus and strengthened its mission to serve families.
Kathy holds a degree in Social Work, a background that provides a strong foundation for her compassionate approach. After dedicating time to raising her four children, she felt a strong desire to return to meaningful and impactful work, which she found at FCA. Her personal philosophy is to make every family she serves feel like they are the most important people in the world. She strives to provide support that is not only thorough and informative but also deeply empathetic, easing their burden and guiding them through difficult times with clarity and care.
Outside of work, Kathy cherishes her time with her family, including her husband, four children, and six grandchildren. They bring endless joy, laughter, and perspective to her life.
Matt is the founder of Full-Circle Aftercare. He saw a critical gap in the funeral industry: the need for comprehensive support for families after funeral and hospice services are finished. Matt transformed this insight into a concierge-style service designed to handle the “mountain of details” that grieving families have to navigate, allowing them to focus on healing.
His philosophy is to always prioritize integrity and the client experience, asking, “What is right for my our clients and the families we serve?” This core belief has guided FCA’s growth from a small team into a thriving organization dedicated to providing essential support.
His approach is deeply personal, ensuring we serve client families with the same care and consideration we would give our own. This dedication ensures FCA remains focused on its central mission to ease the administrative and emotional burden on others. While his work life is all about service, Matt is also devoted to his family. He uses the pursuit of big goals and a commitment to integrity in both his professional and personal life.Text

Brandon joined Full-Circle Aftercare over 5 years ago. His most impactful projects have included implementing new internal systems like a new CRM, automated scheduling tools, and a program to connect families with licensed professionals. He brings a unique perspective from his previous roles as a first sales hire for several startups, which exposed him to different industry practices and taught him how to create more efficient processes.
Brandon is always looking for ways to improve the company’s “product” and the experience of both business clients and families. He’s passionate about finding better ways to do things and enhancing every interaction. Outside of his work at FCA, Brandon runs FD Bespoke, which specializes in creating custom suits and shirts for funeral professionals.
